Guides
Launch a strategy, attach a Pons token, buy or sell, buy from the shelf, sell a bag, trigger a burn pass, claim launcher rewards, read a strategy page.
All of these except the last end in a transaction you sign in your own wallet on Robinhood Chain, with gas paid in ETH. The app runs each transaction against the chain before your wallet opens, so one that would fail shows its reason on the page and costs nothing. To set up a wallet, see wallets on Robinhood Chain.
Launch a strategy
Launch when you want a new Pons token whose creator rewards fund a strategy vault from its first trade.
- Press “Launch strategy” at the top of the app. “Launch a strategy” opens at step 1, “Kind”.
- Pick “NFT strategy” or “Token strategy” and press “Next”. The kind cannot change after launch.
- Search the target by name or paste its contract address. The wizard checks it on chain: a collection has to be ERC-721 and a token an ERC-20. Press “Next”.
- Fill in “Name” (up to 64 characters), “Ticker” (A to Z and 0 to 9, up to 16) and “Logo”, a square PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP of at least 1000 × 1000 px and up to 4 MB. “Description” and “Links” are optional. Set “Bid growth” between 0.0036 and 36 ETH an hour; it starts at 0.5. Press “Next”.
- On “Confirm”, read the summary and the “Fixed terms”, tick the box under them and press “Launch strategy”.
You sign one transaction. It costs Pons' launch fee, shown as “Pons launch fee” before you sign, plus gas; mystrat adds no fee of its own. Name, ticker, kind and target are permanent. Once the transaction lands, a dialog confirms the launch and the strategy page opens as soon as the indexer has the token.
If it fails: the wizard keeps your input and shows the reason. When Pons has changed its launch fee or its launch terms in the meantime, nothing was launched and the new figures are already on screen; check them and press “Launch strategy” again.
Attach a Pons token
Attach when you launched a token on Pons yourself and want its creator rewards to run a strategy. Only the wallet that is the token's creator-fee recipient can do it.
- Open Attach a Pons token and paste the address into “Pons token address”.
- The page reads the token from Pons and marks each check “Yes” or “No”: the token is on Pons, your wallet is its creator-fee recipient, it trades against ETH, and Pons buyback is off. If buyback is on, press “Turn off Pons buyback” and sign that first. A token whose graduation Pons rescued cannot be attached at all.
- Choose the kind, the target and “Bid growth”, as in the launch wizard.
- Tick the box and press “Create the vault”. This first signature creates the vault, which exists from here on but receives nothing yet.
- Tick the box that confirms the rewards move for good, and press “Hand rewards to the vault”. This second signature, on Pons, hands the token's creator rewards to the vault from then on.
You sign two transactions, three if buyback was on, and pay gas only. The handover is permanent: the vault has no way to give the rewards back. The vault splits whatever creator tax the token launched with: 80% to the strategy, 10% to you as the launcher and 10% to the platform.
If it fails: while any check says “No”, the page shows “Every check above has to say Yes before the vault can be created.” Connect the recipient's wallet, or turn buyback off. mystrat also refuses a token whose creator tax is under 1%.
Buy or sell a strategy token
Every strategy page has a “Trade” panel. It trades on the token's Pons curve, or after graduation in its Uniswap v4 pool through the Uniswap router, and mystrat adds no fee of its own.
- Open the strategy from the list on the app's home page and find the “Trade” panel.
- Choose “Buy” or “Sell” and type the amount in “You pay”: ETH to buy, the token to sell. “Sell all” fills in your whole balance.
- Check “You receive, about”, “Minimum received” and the fees line. “Venue” says where the trade goes: the “Pons curve”, with how much of 4.2 ETH it has raised, or the “Uniswap v4 pool”.
- Leave “Slippage” at 1% or set it between 0.1% and 15%. Above 5% the panel warns: “High slippage: the trade may fill far below the quote.”
- Press the button, which reads “Buy” or “Sell” with the ticker, and confirm in your wallet.
A buy is one transaction. A sale on the curve first asks you to approve exactly that amount for the Pons curve, if it is not approved already. A sale in the pool asks once to approve Permit2, then for a Permit2 allowance of exactly that amount to the Uniswap router for 30 minutes, then for the sale itself. Every trade pays the 1% Pons fee and the token's creator tax, 10% for tokens launched here, plus gas, and carries a minimum taken from the quote you saw.
Near 4.2 ETH the curve fills a buy only up to graduation, and Pons refunds the rest to your wallet. The panel says how much fits before you press.
If it fails: the price usually moved between the quote and the block. The panel says “The price moved past your slippage limit. Nothing was traded. Check the new quote and try again.” and loads a new quote.
Buy from the shelf
Every strategy resells its purchases at 1.2 times cost, or less if the mystrat multisig has cut the markup. Every ETH paid there goes to the burn queue.
- Open the “Shelf” panel on the strategy page. Its caption counts the pieces or bags on it.
- Each row shows “Paid, ETH” and “Listed at, ETH”. Press the row's button: “Buy for” and the price for a piece, “Buy bag #” with the bag's number and price for a bag.
- Confirm in your wallet.
You sign one transaction that pays exactly the listed price, plus gas. The app reads the price from the vault just before and never pays more than the row showed. The piece or bag reaches your wallet in the same transaction.
If it fails: “Someone else bought it first.” The shelf refreshes every 10 seconds and drops the row once the sale is indexed.
Sell a bag to the vault
A token strategy buys its target token from holders in bags, each a thousandth of the target's supply when the strategy was created, and pays the current bid.
- Hold at least one full bag of the target token in the connected wallet.
- In the “Shelf” panel, the “Sell a bag to the vault” box shows how many bags you hold and what the vault pays for one now.
- Press “Sell a bag to the vault”. Your wallet asks to approve one bag for the vault if it is not approved yet, then to confirm the sale.
Every sale is exactly one bag, paid in the same transaction; you pay gas. The minimum price is the bid read just before, so the sale reverts rather than fill lower. The vault relists the bag and takes what it paid off its bid.
If it fails: another bag most likely sold first and lowered the bid, and nothing was sold. Check the new figure and press again. Targets that charge a fee on transfers arrive short of a full bag, and the vault turns those sales down.
Trigger a burn pass
ETH from shelf sales waits in the vault's burn queue until a pass spends it on the strategy token and sends the tokens to the dead address. Anyone can trigger a pass and keep 0.5% of what it spends; the keeper runs them too.
- Open the “Vault” panel on the strategy page. “Burn queue” shows the ETH waiting and what a pass pays you now.
- Press “Trigger burn pass, earn 0.5%”.
- Confirm in your wallet.
You sign one transaction and pay gas; the reward arrives in the same transaction. A pass spends at most 1 ETH, never more than the market under the token can take, and runs at its full size only once the burn budget covers it (see the burn). Passes are at least 5 minutes apart by default; while the budget refills, the panel says “The burn budget refills over the hour.” and when the next pass opens. The app runs the pass once as a dry run and requires at least 97% of the tokens it showed.
If it fails: “A burn pass ran moments ago.” Someone, often the keeper, went first and took that reward. The panel then shows when the next pass opens.
Claim launcher rewards
The vault of every strategy you launched or attached sets aside 10% of each harvest of creator rewards for you and keeps it until you claim. The keeper looks for rewards to harvest in each vault every 5 minutes.
- Connect the wallet you launched from and press “Portfolio” at the top of the app.
- “Your launches” lists each of your strategies with “Owed to you”.
- Press the row's “Claim” button, which shows the amount, and confirm in your wallet.
The same button sits under “Your launcher share” in the strategy's “Vault” panel. You sign one transaction and pay gas. Anyone can trigger a payout for any launcher, and the ETH always goes to the address it is owed to.
If it fails: with the wallet on another network the panel says “Your wallet is on another network. Switch to Robinhood Chain to claim.” Press “Switch to Robinhood Chain” and claim again.
Read a strategy page
Each strategy has its own page, opened from its row on the app's home page. On a wide screen the token's own panel sits on top, with “Chart”, “Shelf” and “Log” in the left column and “Bid”, “Trade”, “Vault” and “Holders” in the right. On a phone the panels stack with “Bid” and “Trade” first.
- Creator rewards may move
- A notice above everything else, shown only while Pons has proposed moving the token's creator rewards away from the vault. It gives the date and the proposed recipient. See risks.
- The token's own panel
- Name and ticker, the kind and target, whether the token was launched here or attached, and its phase. A check next to the token or the target means its address is the real one. Three lines appear in red when they apply: “Not the verified …” for a copy, “The launcher owns this collection's contract and can change it.” (or this token's) when the launcher controls the target, and “OpenSea has not verified this collection.” when OpenSea has neither verified nor approved it. The figures are “Market cap”, “Volume 24h”, “Burned” as a share of supply, “Price” and “Holders”. The line at its foot links the vault and says whether “Creator rewards go to the vault”.
- Chart
- Candles from “1s” to “1D”, as “Price” or “Market cap”. On the curve, a strip starting “On the curve:” shows how much of 4.2 ETH is raised; after graduation a marker reads “Migrated to Uniswap v4”. Two links, “Trade on Pons” and “Chart on GMGN”, open the token on those sites.
- Shelf
- What the vault holds, what it paid and what it asks. See buy from the shelf and sell a bag.
- Log
- What the vault and Pons did, newest first: harvests, purchases with the seller, shelf sales, burns, claims, the migration, changes to the vault's terms or to who receives its rewards, and the team's public proposals of a new bid or marketplace, each with the date it can apply. Each line has a “Transaction” link to Blockscout.
- Bid
- The bar fills as the bid climbs. For an NFT strategy it fills toward the collection's floor price on OpenSea, and for a token strategy toward what the vault can pay. The line at its foot shows “Growth” per hour and the cap after “Up to”. When the vault buys, a “Bought” note lights on this panel.
- Trade
- See buy or sell.
- Vault
- “Treasury”, “Ceiling”, “Bid growth”, “Relists at” and “Last buy”, then the “Burn queue” with its button. With the launcher's wallet connected it also shows “Your launcher share”.
- Holders
- The 20 largest balances. The vault, the Pons curve and the Uniswap v4 pool appear by name, and your own row is marked “(you)”. Burned tokens are not listed here; the token's own panel counts them under “Burned”. For an attached token the list starts at the attach, so earlier holders can be missing.
