FAQ

The token
Is the token backed by what the vault holds?
No. The vault's ETH, pieces and bags belong to the strategy. The token cannot be redeemed for any of it, and its price can sit below the treasury without anything being wrong. Holding it gets you the effect of the vault's buying and of the supply its resales burn. See the token.
Is the token transferable?
Yes. It is a standard Pons token, so it can go to any wallet, a hardware wallet included. The other side of that: a trade anywhere outside its Pons curve or pool pays no creator tax and feeds no vault.
What sets the price?
Trading on its Pons curve, then in its Pons pool. Every buy moves it up and every sell moves it down. No oracle feeds it, and the treasury does not anchor it.
What does a burn do?
The proceeds of a shelf sale buy the token on Pons, and the vault sends what it bought to the dead address. You see it as buying in the market, spread over passes minutes to hours apart.
Collections and tokens
Does a strategy push my floor up?
Not on its own. It brings a new buyer, funded by trading in a different token, and its resales are always above cost. Whether that moves the floor depends on everyone else in the market.
What happens when the floor drops below the shelf price?
The shelf stops selling, so burning stops too, until the floor recovers or the mystrat multisig cuts the markup. In a falling market a markup that stays high can stall a strategy while every figure still looks normal.
Can a collection have two strategies?
Yes, any number, and so can a token. They bid against each other for the same floor or the same bags.
Why can't I launch on this collection?
The team opened targets to everyone on 29 September 2026, for good: any ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain can take a Token strategy, and any ERC-721 collection an NFT one. The wizard refuses only an address with no contract, a contract of the wrong kind, a token with no supply, and on the attach page the strategy's own token. A collection OpenSea has neither verified nor approved can still be named, and the site warns that OpenSea has not verified it: copies of known collections exist, so check the address.
Do a collection's holders get anything?
Not from the strategy. The launcher's 10% goes to whoever launched it. When the collection contract names the launcher as its owner, the strategy page warns “The launcher owns this collection's contract and can change it.”: such a launcher may be able to mint pieces and sell them to the vault at the bid.
What does the check mean?
The check marks the real thing: a token or collection at the address the mystrat team has confirmed, or a collection OpenSea has reviewed. A strategy carries it only when the team lists that strategy itself. A name that reads like a verified one at another address is marked “Not the verified …” in red, so compare the address before you buy.
Fees and launching
How much does launching cost?
Pons' launch fee plus gas; the wizard displays the fee ahead of your signature. mystrat charges nothing. Attaching a token you already launched costs gas only.
Is trading here different from trading on Pons?
No. The “Trade” panel trades on the same Pons curve or pool at the same fees, and trades made on Pons feed the vault just the same. See fees.
Who runs the purchases and burns?
Any wallet. Sellers fill bids to get paid, and each burn pass pays 0.5% to its caller. The keeper also runs every step on a timer, which keeps things prompt, though nothing relies on it. See who runs it.
What can the mystrat team change?
Through its multisig: a vault's bid growth and ceiling within limits, the markup but only downward, the pace of burns within limits, which marketplaces NFT vaults buy through, and whether new strategies can launch. It no longer chooses which collections and tokens take strategies: it opened them to everyone on 29 September 2026, and that cannot be undone. Raising a bid or ceiling and adding a marketplace need a proposal made on chain 48 hours before, which shows in the strategy's log and lapses if it is not used within 7 days after that. It cannot take a vault's ETH, pieces, bags or burn queue, and cannot change a strategy's target, split or launcher. The full table is under who can change what.
Can Pons take the rewards?
The owner of Pons can move any token's creator rewards to another address. The change needs 3 days' notice and lapses if nobody executes it within the 3 days after that. mystrat cannot stop it. The strategy page shows a notice while a change is pending, and what the vault already holds stays with it.
Risk
Have the contracts been audited?
Not by an outside firm. The team audited them itself before the beta, fixed what it found, and launched that version. A bug could still lose a vault's ETH, pieces or bags.
What are the risks?
Prices swing, and only the market decides them. The contracts are young and have had no external audit. Whatever a vault owns is worth what a buyer will give for it, and none of it belongs to holders. Pons or Robinhood Chain can pause or change things without our say. Use only money you can lose in full. See before you buy.
When something goes wrong
The button says “Connect wallet”.
No wallet is connected. Press it and pick your wallet in the menu that opens under it; wallets already in this browser come first. One that is not installed shows “Install” and opens its download page in a new tab: install it, reload the page and pick it again. See wallets.
The button says “Switch to Robinhood Chain”.
Your wallet is on another network. Press the button and approve the switch in your wallet. If the wallet does not know Robinhood Chain, the switch fails; add the network by hand with the values under wallets.
The amount field says “Lower the amount.”
The amount is more than your balance: ETH when buying, the token when selling. The field keeps what you typed; lower it, or press “Sell all” to sell your whole balance. A buy also needs ETH for gas, and without enough the panel says “Your wallet does not have enough ETH for this amount and the network fee. Lower the amount.”
The trade failed with “The price moved past your slippage limit.”
The price moved further than your slippage between the quote and the block, so nothing was traded. The panel loads a new quote: check it and press again, or raise “Slippage” (15% at most) on a token that moves fast. See buy or sell.
I bought near 4.2 ETH and got ETH back.
The curve sells only up to its 4.2 ETH graduation point. Pons filled the part of your buy that fit and refunded the rest to your wallet in the same transaction. Your minimum then holds the price per token, and the number of tokens shrinks with the part that fit. Buy more in the Uniswap v4 pool once it opens.
The panel says “The curve is full and this token is moving to Uniswap v4.”
The token has just reached 4.2 ETH, and Pons is moving it from the curve to its Uniswap v4 pool. Trading on the curve stops there, and the pool opens once Pons creates it. Try again once it is live; the panel then sends the trade to the pool.
Launching says “mystrat is not deployed on this network yet”.
This build of the app points at a mystrat deployment that does not exist yet, so the launch wizard and the attach page cannot send anything. They open once the contracts are live.
The wizard says “Pons is not accepting launches right now.”
The wizard asks Pons and the mystrat factory before you sign. Pons can stop taking launches, and the factory's owner can pause new strategies, which shows as “mystrat is paused and is not creating new strategies right now.” Either way the button stays disabled and your input is kept. Strategies that already exist keep trading, harvesting and burning.
The launch failed with “Pons changed its launch fee”.
The factory requires Pons' exact current launch fee, and Pons changed it after the wizard read it. The wizard shows the new fee; check it and press “Launch strategy” again. Your input is kept.
The launch failed with “Pons changed its launch terms after this page read them”.
The launch is pinned to the Pons fees and curve the wizard read, and Pons changed them before it landed, so nothing was launched. The wizard reads the new terms; press “Launch strategy” again to accept them.
The strategy page says the token “has no market on Pons”.
Pons rescued the token's graduation: the ETH meant for its Uniswap v4 pool went elsewhere, and the pool will not be created. The token cannot trade on Pons, so no new rewards arrive, and without the pool the vault cannot run burn passes: ETH in its burn queue stays in the vault, and shelf sales only add to it. See graduation.
The wizard will not take my token name.
Robinhood Chain's brand rules do not allow “Robinhood” or a nickname of the network in token names, tickers or descriptions, and the wizard checks for them. Names are also limited to 64 characters, and tickers to 16 characters from A to Z and 0 to 9.
The shelf says “Someone else bought it first.”
Another buyer took that piece or bag before your transaction, and nothing was bought. The shelf refreshes every 10 seconds; pick another row. See buy from the shelf.
The burn pass failed with “A burn pass ran moments ago.”
Someone else, often the keeper, ran a pass first and took its 0.5%. The “Vault” panel then says when the next one opens: passes are at least 5 minutes apart by default and wait for the burn budget to refill. See trigger a burn pass.
The strategy page says “Creator rewards do not reach this vault”.
Pons no longer sends this token's creator rewards to the vault. For an attached token the handover may not have happened yet; otherwise the owner of Pons has moved the rewards after 3 days' notice. The vault keeps what it already received and keeps spending it, but no new rewards arrive. See risks.
